We are very happy to welcome you into our practice. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to care for your child's total oral health.

Our emphasis is on prevention, but when necessary our goal is to provide the best and most comfortable dental care possible so that your child will have a good dental experience as he/she grows into adulthood.

On the first visit your child will begin a very important step forward in the care of his/her teeth, general health and appearance.

 WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE FIRST VISIT:

~Tour of our special office with a member of our staff .

~Consultation with parents and child about the importance of diet, hygiene and fluorides.

~Demonstration of brushing and flossing your child's  teeth.

~A thorough comprehensive dental examination.

~Consultation about your child's dental needs and how we expect to meet those needs.

~When cooperation allows we will provided a dental cleaning, fluroride treatment and any  necessary digital x-rays.

~Schedule next appropriate appointment.

~Provide information about financing (if treatment needed).

On your child's first dental visit/experience, we encourage parents to accompany their child on the tour and into the operatory.  This gives the parents the opportunity to become familiar with the practice, staff,  Dr. Mike and the surroundings.  We always want to stress to the parents the importance of getting their child ready  for their dental visit.  It is important, also, to be positive at all times, regardless of the "parents" past dental experiences.  We strive in making each visit fun, educational and memorable so that it can develop a life long goal of maintaining good oral health.
